Öğe Bilgisayar malzeme satışı amaçlı e-ticaret sitesi oluşturulması(Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 2004-01-15) İşcan, Hazim; Erdi, AliElektronik ticaret, mal ve hizmetlerin üretim, tanıtım, satış, sigorta, dağıtım ve ödeme işlemlerinin bilgisayar ağlan üzerinden yapılmasıdır. Elektronik ticaret, ticari işlemlerden biri veya tamamının elektronik ortamda gerçekleştirilmesi yoluyla reklam ve pazar araştırması, sipariş ve ödeme ile teslim olmak üzere üç aşamadan oluşmaktadır. İnternetin hızla yaygınlaşması, elektronik ticareti, ticari işlemlerin yürütülmesinde yeni ve çok etkin bir araç haline getirmiştir. Elektronik ticaret, tüm dünyada ticaretin serbestleştirilmesi eğilimi ile birlikte, son on yılda yaşanan ve bilgi iletişimini kolaylaştıran teknolojik gelişmelerin bir ürünü olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Acımasız rekabet ortamında firmaların ayakta kalmak için yapması gereken gelişen teknolojiye uyum sağlamaktır. Bunun için de sağlam bir alt yapı, esnek bir yönetim anlayışı ve yeniliklere açık bir zihniyet gerekmektedir. Gerek üretim yapan, gerekse hizmet sunan işletmeler ticari faaliyetlerini ve hizmet sunumlarını elektronik ortamda da gerçekleştirebilmeliler. Bu çalışma kapsamında elektronik-ticaret modelleri, elektronik-ticaret prensipleri, elektronik alış-veriş yapma adımları, elektronik ticarette güvenlik konuları incelenmiştir. Pratik bir uygulamayla elektronik-ticaretin genel yapısı, çalışması ve gerçekleştirilmesi sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada ASP yazılımı kullanılmış, veri tabam olarak ta Microsoft Access kullanılmıştır.Öğe Designing a Special Purpose E-Commerce Website(2009) İşcan, Hazim; Fındık, Oğuz; Kodaz, Halife; Erdi, AliElectronic commerce can be defined as the process of conducting the production, advertisement, sale, insurance and payment of products and services over computer networks. Electronic commerce, which is realized through carrying out one or more of the business transactions in the electronic environment, is composed of three stages as advertisement and market research, order and payment, and delivery. The fast spread of the internet has made electronic commerce a new and highly effective tool for performing business transactions. Electronic commerce has emerged as a product of the technological developments experienced in the last decade which facilitate the communication of information, together with the trend towards the liberalization of trade all around the world. Electronic commerce models, principles of electronic commerce, steps of electronic shopping and security in electronic commerce were examined within the scope of the present study. The general structure, running and implementation of electronic commerce was realized by way of a practical application. ASP software and Microsoft Access database were used in this study.Öğe Effects of Feature Selection Using Binary Particle Swarm Optimization on Wheat Variety Classification(Springer-Verlag Berlin, 2010) Babalık, Ahmet; Baykan, Ömer Kaan; İşcan, Hazim; Babaoğlu, İsmail; Fındık, OğuzIn this article, classification of wheat varieties is aimed with the help of multiclass support vector machines (M-SVM) and binary particle swarm optimization (BPSO) algorithm. For each wheat kernel, 9 geometric and 3 color features are obtained from the digital images which are belong to 5 wheat type. Wheat types are classified using M-SVM. In order to increase the reliability of the classification process, 2 fold cross validation approach is implemented and this process repeated 250 times. Average classification accuracy is obtained as 91.5%. With the aim of increasing the classification accuracy and decreasing the process time, descriptive features are decreased by BPSO algorithm and reduced from 12 to 7. Average of classification accuracy is obtained as 92.02% using 7 features obtained from reduction with BPSO.Öğe Thyroid Disease Diagnosis Using Artificial Immune Recognition System (AIRS)(2009) Kodaz, Halife; Babaoğlu, İsmail; İşcan, HazimThe use of artificial intelligence methods in medical diagnosis is increasing gradually. The effectiveness of classification and recognition systems has improved in a great deal to help medical experts in diagnosing diseases. Artificial Immune Systems (AIS) is a new but effective branch of artificial intelligence. This study aims at diagnosing thyroid disease with Artificial Immune Recognition System (AIRS). Thyroid disease diagnosis is an important classification problem. The thyroid data employed in this study is available from UCI Repository site. This data set is a very commonly used data set in the literature relating the use of classification systems for thyroid disease diagnosis and it was used in this study to compare the classification performance of AIRS with regard to other studies. We obtained a classification accuracy of 94.82%, which is one of the highest accuracies reached so far. This result ensured that AIRS would be helpful in diagnosing thyroid function based on laboratory tests, and would open the way to various ill diagnoses support by using the recent clinical examination data, and we are actually in progress.
