    Dakuk ilçesinin tarihi ve geleneksel mimari mirası

    In this study; It is aimed to examine the traditional housing structures in the Dakuk district center of Kirkuk Province and to determine the traditional building properties through this examination. The geographical, social and historical features of the Dakuk district and the physical development of the Dakuk city have been examined in this study. Since Dakuk Houses have common features with Turkmeneli Houses, the architectural characteristics of traditional Turkmeneli Houses are described before presenting Dakuk Houses. Two study areas were identified in the city of Dakuk and a total of 11 traditional housing samples were examined in these areas. Through these buildings, the traditional architectural features of Dakuk city have been revealed and the results obtained from the studies have been determined.
