Cryptomarasmius corbariensis (Physalacriaceae, Agaricales) in Turkey with first molecular data on the species from Eurasia
(GEBRUDER BORNTRAEGER, 2018) Bozok, Fuat; Taskin, Hatira; Buyukalaca, Saadet; Dogan, Hasan Huseyin; Assyov, Boris
Cryptomarasmius corbariensis (Roum.) T.S.Jenkinson & Desjardin, a species confined primarily to litter of olive trees, is recorded for the first time from Asia and Turkey, based on identification by ITS sequences and morphological characters. Description and illustrations are included. An overview of the distribution is provided and briefly discussed with emphasis on the possibly wider extent than currently known.

Four new morel (Morchella) species in the elata subclade (M. sect. Distantes) from Turkey
(MYCOTAXON LTD, 2016) Taskin, Hatira; Dogan, Hasan Huseyin; Buyukalaca, Saadet; Clowez, Philippe; Moreau, Pierre-Arthur; O'Donnell, Kerry
Four Turkish Morchella species identified in published multilocus molecular phylogenetic analyses are described here as new, using detailed macro-and microscopic data: M. mediterraneensis (Mel-27), M. fekeensis (Mel-28), M. magnispora (Mel-29), and M. conifericola (Mel-32). A distribution map of morels identified to date in Turkey is also provided.

Morchella galilaea, an autumn species from Turkey
(MYCOTAXON LTD, 2015) Taskin, Hatira; Dogan, Hasan Huseyin; Buyukalaca, Saadet
Morchella specimens collected during the autumn seasons of 2009-12 from Adana Province, Turkey, have been identified by DNA sequencing as representatives of Morchella galilaea. The macro- and micromorphology, phylogeny, ecology, and fruiting phenology of the Turkish material are evaluated.

A new species of Barssia (Ascomycota, Helvellaceae) from Turkey
(TUBITAK SCIENTIFIC & TECHNICAL RESEARCH COUNCIL TURKEY, 2018) Dogan, Hasan Huseyin; Bozok, Fuat; Taskin, Hatira
A new species of the genus Barssia was identified from Turkey using both morphological and phylogenetic analysis of the ribosomal internal transcribed spacer region (ITS rDNA) and nuclear ribosomal large subunit (LSU rDNA) gene sequences. Macroscopic and microscopic features of the fresh samples were photographed and a diagnostic key of the genus Barssia was built considering characteristics of known species.

Volatile Constituents of The Edible Tricholoma terreum in Marmara Region of Turkey
(TAYLOR & FRANCIS LTD, 2017) Bozok, Fuat; Dogan, Hasan Hseyin; Taskin, Hatira; Kafkas, Ebru; Buyukalaca, Saadet
Tricholoma terreum is a fungal species which is also commonly consumed and widespread in Turkey. Seventeen aroma compounds were identified with Headspace Solid-Phase Microextraction/Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (HS-SPME/GC-MS). Major aroma compounds in T. terreum were as follows; 1-octen-3-ol (37.08 %), (E)-2-octen-1-ol (19.68 %), hexanal (16.00 %), 3-octanone (3.36 %), acetic acid (2.63 %) and (E)-2-octenal (2.27 %). This study is the first report on the volatile aroma compounds of T. terreum in Turkey.
