Öğe CONTRIBUTIONS TO DIWAN OF GEVHERI(SELCUK UNIV, INST TURKISH STUDIES, 2017) Karasoy, Yakup; Yavuz, Orhan; Yilmaz, IbrahimGevheri is a minsterel who is supposed to lived in the 17th century. Gevheri has an exceptional statue among the Turkish minstrels. The influence of him on the following poet is quite large. There is no separate diwan of Gevheri. Sukru Elcin was created a diwan by gathering the poems of Gevheri which are in conks and manuscripts. In this study, it will be focused on unpublished poems of Gevheri in a conk (the handbook which includes folk poems) in Harid Fedai's private library. With this work, Gevheri's 54 unpublished poems will be presented to scientific community for the first time. Thus, 54 poems have been added to the Diwan of Gevheri-including 945 poems with its annexes-which is previously published by Sukru Elcin. We present these poems to the attention of Turcology researchers -notably folklorists-Öğe Coumarin Based Highly Selective "off-on-off" Type Novel Fluorescent Sensor for Cu2+ and S2- in Aqueous Solution(SPRINGER/PLENUM PUBLISHERS, 2017) Karuk Elmas, Aukriye Nihan; Ozen, Furkan; Koran, Kenan; Yilmaz, Ibrahim; Gorgulu, Ahmet Orhan; Erdemir, SerkanSolvent free synthesis of 6,7-dihydroxy-3-(3-chlorophenyl) coumarin (CFHC) was designed and obtained by the interaction of 2-(2,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-1-(3-chlorophenyl)acrylonitrile with pyridinium hydrochloride in the presence of silica gel by using microwave irradiation. The characterization of CFHC was confirmed by FT-IR, H-1, C-13, C-13-APT and 2D HETCOR spectroscopy methods. The optical behavior of CFHC towards metal ions was investigated by UV-visible and fluorescence spectroscopy. CFHC showed "on-off" type fluorescence response towards Cu2+ with high selectivity in aqueous solution (CH3CN/H2O, 9/1, v/v). Once binding with Cu2+, CFHC-Cu2+ complex also displayed high selectivity for sulfide, resulting in "off-on" type sensing of sulfide anion.
