| dc.description.abstract | Kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik, işletme literatüründe sık sık kullanılmaya başlayan işletmelerin geleneksel amaçları arasında sayılan sürekli büyüme ve kar maksimizasyonuna alternatif olabilecek, işletmelerin amaçlarına çağdaş bir bakış açısı getirebilecek, iş piyasasında farklılık yaratabilecek ve klasik rekabet anlayışının farklı bir bakış açısıyla yorumlanabilmesini sağlayabilecek bir kavramdır. Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksi, kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik kavramının finansal piyasalardaki yansımasıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, BİST Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksinde işlem gören ve bankacılık sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 4 bankanın sürdürülebilirlik endeksine girmeden önceki hisse senedi değerleri ile sürdürülebilirlik endeksine girdikten sonraki hisse senedi değerlerine ilişkin değişimin istatistiki olarak yorumlanmasıdır. Bankaların hisse senetleri ortalamaları endeks öncesinde, endeks sonrasına göre daha yüksek olsa da istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık gerçekleşmemiştir (p>0,05). Hisse senedi değerlerinde görülen düşüşün sürdürülebilirlik endeksinin henüz yeni yeni tanınmaya başlamasından kaynaklandığı ve çalışma kapsamında incelenen dönemde Türkiye’de yaşanan olumsuz gelişmelerin endeksi olumsuz yönde etkilediği düşünülmektedir. Sürdürülebilirlik endeksi ortalamasının tersine BİST 100 endeksi istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir yükseliş göstermiştir. | dc.description.abstract | Sustainability is a concept that can be used as an alternative to continuous growth and profit maximization of the enterprises which are frequently used in the business literature and can bring a contemporary perspective to the aims of the businesses that will be able to make a difference in the business market and interpret the classical competition concept from a different point of view. The Sustainability Index is a reflection of the concept of corporate sustainability on financial markets. The purpose of this study is to interpret the changes in stock prices before entering the sustainability index of the four banks that are traded in the BIST Sustainability Index and in the banking sector and the changes in stock prices after entering the sustainability index. Although the average stocks of the banks were higher before the index than after the index, there was no statistically significant difference (p> 0,05). It is thought that the negative developments in Turkey negatively affect the index due to the fact that the sustainability index has just begun to be newly recognized. In contrast to the sustainability index average, the BISST 100 index showed a statistically significant increase. The main reason behind this is that the BİST 100 index is a deepened index. | en_US |
