| dc.description.abstract | A sum of 86 blood sera of sheep were collected from Konya Livestock Research Centre. The blood sera were examined to determine the presence of neutralizing antibodies to BTV (Bluetongue Virus), type SA4 by microneutralization test. BHK (Baby Hamster Kidney) permanent cell line was used for production and titration of BTV and neutralisation test. Glascow Eagle's MEM (Minimum Essential Medium) with 10% calf sera for cell medium and Glascow Eagle's MEM without sera for virus medium were used in this research. The blood sera were tested at the rate of 1/10 dilution. At the end of the microneutralization test, the 31 (36.04 %) sheep blood were found seropozitive to BTV, type S*A_{4}. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Tarım Orman ve Köyişleri Bakanlığına bağlı Konya Merkez Hayvancılık Araştırma Enstitüsünde bulunan toplam 86 adet koyundan kan serumu numuneleri toplanmıştır. Alınan kan serumlan koyun Mavi Dil virusunun S*A_{4} tipine karşı, nötralizan antikor varlığını saptamak amacıyla mikronötralizasyon metoduyla test edilmiştir. Mavi Dil virusunun üretilmesi, titrasyonu ve nötralizasyon testlerinde, BHK (Baby Hamster Kidney: Yavru Hamster Böbrek Epitel Hücresi) devamlı hücre kültürü kullanılmıştır. Hücre üretme vasatı olarak % 10 inaktif dana serumlu Glascow Eagle's MEM, virus üretme vasati olarak serumsuz Glascow Eagle's MEM vasatı kullanılmıştır. Koyun kan serumlan, 1/10 sulandırma oranında teste alınmıştır. Mikronöralizasyon testi sonunda, 86 adet serumun 31 adedinde (% 36.04) Mavi Dil virusuna karşı, pozitif nötralizan antikor varlığı tespit edilmiştir. | en_US |
