dc.description.abstractCalixarene-based molecular receptors have been a widely developing area in material science and technology for the last few decades. Due to their bowl-shaped geometry, calixarene macrocycles are used as hosts allowing organic and inorganic guests to coordinate/sorb onto their cavity. This work briefly reviews the recent development of calixarenes.en_US
