Cardiovascular diseases are the leading causes of mortality and morbidity in developed and developing countries all over the world. Atherosclerosis is the most important preparation factor in the development of coronary ischemia. It is known that vitamins play an important role in the regulation of numerous pathological events such as endothelial damage, reactive oxygen species due to oxidative damage, platelet dysfunction, platelet aggregation, leukocyte adhesion and vasoconstriction that are among the most important pathogenetic mechanisms in the development of acute cardiac ischemic diseases. Acute coronary vascular events can be prevented by adequate intake of these vitamins, regulation of nutrition to meet the need for vitamins, or exogenous supplementation to supplement daily needs.en_US
