Özet
Cadastral and title deed services constitute the basic information for the design and implementation of any aspect of land use. This includes: taxation; judicial; urbanisation; development; nationalisation; plot and landscape planning; the preparation and implementation of engineering projects; social, tourism and economic planning. Cadastral systems are therefore crucial for the proper administration of land and property in any modern country by public institutions and organisations. This paper describes the current state of the Turkish cadastral system and, through the use of a case study of a rural village near Konya, proposes methods by which it can be improved.
