Toksoplazmozis'in İnsanlarda Bazı Hematolojik ve Biyokimyasal Değerler Üzerindeki Etkisi

dc.description.abstractObligat intraselüler bir parazit olan, Toxoplasma gondii'nin neden olduğu toksoplazmozis enfeksiyonuna, Türkiye'nin değişik bölgelerinde sık olarak rastlanmakta ve önemli metabolik bozukluklara yol açabilmektedir. Bu nedenle çalışma, serolojik olarak belirlenen toksoplazmozis'in gönüllü askerlerde bazı hematolojik değerler ile kan metabolitlerinin serum düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisini bulmak için yapıldı. Bu amaçla, Gemlik Askeri Veteriner Okulu ve Eğitim Merkez Komutanlığı'nda IFAT ile toksoplazmozis yönünden sero-negatif bulunan 14 askeri personel (kontrol) ile sero-pozitif bulunan 18 askeri personel kullanıldı. Usulüne uygun olarak askerlerin V. mediana cubitalis'den kan örnekleri alındı. Örneklerde, hematolojik değerler ile bazı kan metabolitlerinin serum düzeyleri belirlendi. Kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldığında, toksoplazmozisli askerlerin lenfosit oranı, ortalama alyuvar hemoglobin derişimi ve kan serumu kreatin kinaz aktivitesi daha yüksek bulundu. Sonuçlar diğer hastalıklarla karışabileceğinden kan bağışları kabul edilirken toksoplazmozisin de dikkate alınması gerektiği kanısına varıldı.en_US
dc.description.abstractToxoplasmosis, an infection caused by an obligate intracellular parasite, Toxoplasma gondii, is frequently reported from various parts of Turkey and it can cause significant metabolic disturbances. For that reason, the present study was carried out to investigate the effect of toxoplasmosis on some of the haematological values and serum blood metabolite levels which were serologically determined in volunteer soldiers. For this purpose, the IFA technique was used on sera from 14 seronegative soldiers (controls) negative and IS toxoplasmosis seropositive soldiers in the Military School of Veterinary Medicine and Training Centre in Gemlik. According to the procedure, the blood samples of the soldiers were taken from the median cubital vein. The haematological values and the serum levels of some blood metabolites in the samples were determined, When compared to the control group, the percentage of lymphocytes, mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration and creatine kinase activity were found to be higher in the soldiers with toxoplasmosis. The results may be confused with those of other diseases and for this reason toxoplasmosis should be taken into consideration when blood donations are made,en_US
