| dc.description.abstract | Seçmen davranışı konusu çok boyutlu bir konudur. Konunun kültürel, dinsel, ekonomik, politik, sosyolojik ve psikolojik gibi birçok yönü bulunmaktadır. Başka bir ifadeyle, seçmen davranışını etkileyen ve yönlendiren pek çok faktör mevcuttur. Şimdiye kadar da bu faktörlerin birçoğu çeşitli açılardan ele alınıp incelenmiştir. Ancak bu faktörler arasında kültürel ve dinsel olarak nitelendirilebilecek faktörler daha yeni yeni çalışma konusu olmaktadırlar. Çalışmamızın önemi ve diğerlerinden farklılığı tam da bu noktada ortaya çıkmaktadır. Seçmen davranışı siyaset bilimi ve siyaset sosyolojisinin başat konusudur. Bu nedenle de konu ile ilgili sayılmayacak kadar fazla araştırma ve yayın mevcuttur. Bu çokluğa rağmen neden bu konu ile ilgili bir çalışmanın daha yapıldığına ilişkin bir soru bir bakıma haklı olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu soru çalışmamızı diğer çalışmalarla karşılaştırma ve konumlandırma imkanı sunması açısından da anlamlıdır. Seçmenlerin davranışlarında sosyo-psikolojik, kültürel ve dinsel faktörlerin rolünü temel alarak hazırlanan bu çalışmanın teorik ve uygulama olmak üzere iki yönü bulunmaktadır. Çalışmanın teorik kısmında öncelikle seçmen davranışlarının kavramsal çerçevesi ve temel dinamikleri ortaya konularak bu davranışların genel karakteristikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Daha sonra seçmen davranışlarını açıklayan kuramsal modeller ele alınarak bu modellerin gelişimi ve temel nitelikleri üzerinde ayrıntılı bir şekilde durulmuştur. Takip eden bölümde, Türkiye'deki seçmen davranışları dönemsel olarak politik-sosyoloji perspektifiyle analiz edilmiş, daha sonra Türkiye'de yapılan seçmen davranışı araştırmalarındaki yöntem sorunları hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi verilmiş ve seçmen tercihlerindeki dönemsel oynaklığın kaynakları incelenmiştir. Teorik kısmı oluşturan bu iki bölümde çalışmanın uygulama kısmına kavramsal altyapı oluşturmak gibi amaçlar güdülmüştür. Çalışmanın uygulama kısmında, seçmen davranışlarında etkili olduğu düşünülen dinsel, sosyo-psikolojik ve kültürel faktörlere yönelik olarak seçmenlerin tutumları ve algıları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bölümde son olarak çeşitli istatistiksel analizler sonucunda elde edilen bilgi ve bulgular, sonuçlarıyla birlikte yorumlanmış ve çeşitli akademik ve pratik politika önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. | dc.description.abstract | The subject of elector behaviour is a multidimensional subject. The subject has many aspects such as; cultural, religional, economical, political, sociological and psychological. In other words, there have been lots of factors that affect and direct the elector behaviour. By this time, most of these factors have been studied from various aspects. But the factors that can be described as cultural and religional have recently been the subjects of searches. The importance and the difference of our study emerges precisely at this point. The elector behaviour is the principal subject of political sciences and political sociology. And for this reason, there have been countless researches and publication concerning elector behaviour. There emerges a question about why one more study have been done despite this plentitude. This question is significant as it enables us to compare our study to other studies and it enables us to position it. Prepared on the basis of the role of socio-psychological, cultural and religional factors on the behaviours of the electors, this study has two aspects; theoretical and implementation. In the theoretical part of the study, by presenting the conceptual framework of the elector behaviours and its basic dynamics, the general characteristics of these behaviours have been emphasized. Then, by discussing the theoretical models explaining elector behaviours, the development of these models and their basic characteristics have been studied in detail. In the following part, first the elector behaviours in Turkey have been analysed cyclicly in political sociolgy perspective. Then the detailed information have been included about the method problems of the elector behavior studies done in Turkey. Finally the sources of the periodical mobility in the elector preferences have been studied. In the theoretical section, consist of two parts, it has been aimed to prepare a conceptual substructure for the implementation section of the study. In the implementation part of the study, it has been attempted to be determined the attitudes and the perceptions of the electors towards religional, socio-psycholgical and cultural factors that has been thought as effective on the elector behaviours. Finally in this part, the information and findings acquired as a result of various statistical analysis have been interpreted with their results and some academical and practical politics suggestions have been made.
