dc.description.abstractÇalışmada klinik olarak Coenurus cerebralis enfeksiyonu şüpheli 20 koyunda beyin-omurilik sıvısı (BOS) yaymaları, beyin dokundurma preparatları ve histopatolojik kesitlerle karşılaştırıldı. BOS yaymalarında eozinofil, nötrofil, lenfosit, fagositik ve epitelyal hücrelerde belirgin artış ile histopatolojik kesitlerde purulent-eozinofilik ya da nekrotik-granülomatöz yangı tablosu vardı. Çalışma sonunda, histopatolojik kesitlere benzer dökülme gösteren BOS sitolojisinin, Coenurus cerebralis teşhisinde bir ön metot olarak kullanılabileceği kararına varıldı.en_US
dc.description.abstractCerebrospinal fluid (CSF) smears were compared with brain imprints and histopathological sections of sheep with suspected Coenurus cerebralis infection. There was an increase of eosinophils, neutrophils, lymphocytes, phagocytic and epithelial cells in CSF smears. Similarly, purulent eosinophilic or necrotic-granulomatous infections were observed in histopathologic sections. Cytological exfoliation was similar to histopathological details and it was concluded that CSF cytology is useful as a pre-method in diagnosis of Coenurus cerebralis infection.en_US
