dc.description.abstractGPS ile jeodezik amaçlı konum belirlemede nokta yükseklikleri, WGS84 referans elipsoidi üzerinde belirlenir. Ancak çoğu mühendislik çalışmalarında elipsoit yükseklikleri yerine jeoide göre tanımlanan ortometrik yüksekliklere gereksinim duyulur. Mühendislik uygulamalarında GPS kullanımının artışıyla birlikte, büyük ölçekli haritaların üretimine ilişkin Yönetmeliğin değiştirilmesi ve GPS kullanımına uygun hale getirilmesi zorunluluğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Yeni Yönetmelik, GPS’in diğer uygulamaları yanında ortometrik yüksekliklerin elde edilmesi için uygulanacak ölçü ve hesap yöntemlerini de içermektedir. Yeni Yönetmelik ile elipsoit yüksekliklerinden ortometrik yüksekliklerin hesaplanması için dört yöntem verilmektedir. Bu yöntemler; mevcut jeoit modelinin doğrudan kullanılması, mevcut jeoit modelinin yerel GPS/Nivelman noktaları ile güncelleştirilerek kullanılması, GPS baz vektörlerinde ortometrik yükseklik farkları hesaplanarak bunların GPS/Nivelman ağ dengelemesi şeklinde dengelenmesi ve son olarak mevcut jeoit modelini kullanmadan yerel GPS/Nivelman noktalarına dayanan bir yerel jeoit modelinin belirlenmesi ve doğrudan kullanılmasıdır. Bu çalışmada, mevcut Türkiye Jeoidi-2003 (TG-03) modeli kullanılarak GPS ile elde edilen elipsoit yüksekliklerinden ortometrik yüksekliklerin hesaplanması açıklanmakta ve çeşitli uygulamalar verilmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn point positioning with GPS for geodetic purposes, the point heights are determined on the WGS84 reference ellipsoid. However, in many engineering applications, orthometric heights which are defined with respect to the geoid, are required instead of ellipsoidal heights. With the increase of GPS usage in engineering applications, the bylaw on the large scale map production is required to be changed and to be suitable for GPS usage. Besides the other GPS applications, the new bylaw contains observation and calculation methods for obtaining orthometric heights. In the new bylaw, four methods are given for computing orthometric heights from ellipsoidal heights. These methods are; using existing geoid model directly, using existing geoid model by updating it with the local GPS/Leveling points, calculating orthometric height differences on the GPS base vectors and adjusting these values through a GPS/Leveling network adjustment and finally determination of a local GPS/Leveling geoid based on the GPS/Leveling points and using it directly. In this study, computing orthometric heights from GPS derived ellipsoidal heights by using existing Turkish Geoid-2003 (TG-03) model is explained and some applications are given.en_US
