Synthesis of Six New Substituted Aminomethylglyoximes and Some of Their Transition Metal Complexes

The following substituted amino and diaminomethylglyoximes have been synthesized: phenylaminomethylglyoxime, p-tolylaminomethylglyoxime, p-acetoxyphenylaminomethylglyoxime, diphenyl-4,4'-bis(aminomethylglyoxime), 1,1'-diphenylmethane-4,4'-bis(aminomethylglyoxime) and 1,1'-diphenyloxy-4,4'-bis(aminomethylglyoxime). Their complexes with cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and palladium(II) have been isolated. The structure of these new compounds are proposed on the basis of elemental analyses, H-1-nd IR spectral data.
