| dc.description.abstract | 1960lardan başlayarak Türk siyasal hayatında önemli bir yer edinen Türk-İslam sentezi, 1980 darbesi sonrasında oluşan siyasal sistemin adeta resmi söylemi haline gelmiştir. Darbe sonrasında yeniden kurgulanan siyasal sistemde sentezin etkileri bariz biçimde görülebilmektedir. 1983 seçimlerine katılmalarına izin verilen üç siyasal partinin milliyetçilik anlayışları incelendiğinde, Türk-İslam sentezinin MDP ve ANAP tarafından desteklendiğini görmek mümkündür. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract In the history of modern Turkey a new approach to religion developed due to a strict interpretation of secularism. This new understanding defended the idea that Islam as understood by The Turks is a synthesized element in the ethnicity of the people with a specific language, Turkish. This new interpretation defended an idea called later Turkish-Islamic synthesis. Beginning in the 1960s, the Turkish-Islamic synthesis has had an important effect on Turkish political life. After the 1980 coup, the synthesis virtually became the official discourse of the new political system. The effects of the synthesis on the newly designed political system following the coup can be clearly seen. When the nationalism perspectives of the three political parties which were allowed to participate in the 1983 elections are analyzed, it is possible to observe that the Turkish-Islamic synthesis was supported by MDP and ANAP. | en_US |
